Category 3 lenses are suited to most periods of sunlight, when you are in direct sunlight in a medium-altitude mountain, in town or at the beach. They provide a perfect sun protection (against UVA / UVB) and considerably reduce glare. They are highly recommended when you are intensely exposed to strong sunlight (mountain, sea...). It is the highest category authorized for driving.
